What to write about

  • General EV questions — we read everything and answer what we can; popular questions become FAQ entries so the answer helps everyone.

Before you write

  • We cannot recommend a specific vehicle for you — but the calculators will answer most "should I buy" questions better than we could.
  • For subsidy amounts, your state transport department's site is the authority; we explain the patterns, they set the figures.
  • Purchase disputes with dealers or manufacturers are outside our scope — consumer forums exist for that.

Questions that reach us most often

Can you tell me which EV I should buy? Honestly, no — and the site exists because we would rather show you the arithmetic than hand down a verdict. The running-cost calculator with your real daily distance and your electricity tariff will answer the money half of the question more reliably than any recommendation, and the guides cover the charging and state-policy halves.

Is a figure on the site out of date? Possibly — tariffs, fuel prices and subsidy rules move, and we would rather be corrected than silently wrong. Send the page link with what changed; verified corrections are patched within days and the update history on each page notes them.

Do you test the vehicles you write about? Not in the press-launch sense — we do not borrow review units or attend launches, because both come with expectations we are not interested in owing. The numbers we publish come from warranty documents, tariff orders, owner-reported data and public specifications, and each article states which of these it relies on.
